Using the site

You're welcome to browse, learn and get in touch. Please don't try to break the site, get into other people's accounts, or use it to send spam or anything harmful.

Your account

Give us accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us at hello@silentworks.net straight away if you think someone else is using it. Accounts are for adults; a parent or guardian can use our courses with their child. You can delete your account at any time from Your account → Settings.

Courses

• Free lessons are free. Free Starter lessons, such as the first 7 lessons of Calculate Smarter, cost nothing and need only a free account.
• Nothing is charged automatically. A full course opens only when you ask for it and we approve your request. If a course has a price, you'll see it before you ask.
• Course content is ours. Lessons, practice questions, diagrams, books and downloads are for your own learning. Please don't copy, share or sell them.
• We teach; you practise. We work hard to make lessons clear and useful, but how much anyone improves depends on practice, so we can't promise particular results.

Projects and services

When you ask us for a project, we'll agree the scope, price and timing with you in writing before any work starts. Those agreed details apply to that project.

What we're responsible for

We keep the site running and our content accurate as best we can, and we fix mistakes when we find them. Now and then the site may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
